DP Marine Energy Ltd (DPME) has submitted applications to Marine Scotland to develop the West Islay Tidal Energy Park and Offshore Transmission Works to Islay.

In parallel with the statutory consenting process and subsequent to feedback from detailed resource assessments, DPME has been in consultation with The Crown Estate (TCE) to request a modification to the existing West Islay Tidal lease area (AfL). A clarification with respect to the requested modification is also available for download.

Marine Scotland are co-ordinating the consultation and any responses should be sent to ms.marinelicensing@scotland.gsi.gov.uk before the 2nd November deadline.
